
Brandon Isaac, a senior free-safety from Blackville, SC, was named All-Heart Player of the Week by Coach Spurrier and the University of South Carolina coaching staff. The All-Heart award is presented to individuals who display leadership, initiative and “heart” in athletics, academics, and life.
Brandon Isaac started for the gamecocks against South Carolina State, but left the game with a shoulder injury in the first half. Brandon injured the same shoulder he had surgery on last season. In 2006, Brandon shared Most Improved Safety honors with Emanuel Cook.
