Mended Hearts, Chapter 189, Columbia, SC
Mended Hearts, Inc., founded in 1951 by heart disease patients, is a national nonprofit organization that offers the gift of hope to heart disease patients, their families and caregivers.
Chapter #189 (The Providence Heartbeat) was chartered in October 1998, and was awarded the President's Cup as best chapter in the United States and Canada April 2003 - March 2004.

Mended Hearts has nearly 18,000 members in 300 community-based chapters and satellites across the U.S. (and one in Canada). Chapters partner with more than 450 hospitals and cardiac care facilities to provide patient-to-patient support services. Monthly Chapter Meetings
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month.
LOCATION: 2701 Laurel Street, Classroom 3 near Providence Hospital
TIME: 6:15 p.m. - 8 p.m. Our guest speaker starts at 6:30 p.m.
