Providence offers tuition assistance to eligible employees. In order to qualify, employees must be classified as a full- or part-time and have completed 90 days of employment. Providence will reimburse up to $5,000 per fiscal year (January to December). Funds given as reimbursement may be used to cover tuition, books, and fees. The degree or certification pursued must be in an area that directly relates to an existing position within the organization. In addition to providing tuition assistance, Providence will pay for the cost of taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
Tuition request forms must include course descriptions and a proper breakdown of tuition costs. A signature is required at the end of the completed form. All grades and tuition reimbursement forms must be turned in to the Workforce Development Coordinator Felicia Blake in the Human Resources department in person or via fax at extension 256-5838.
