Student Role Shadow Experiences

Role shadow a Providence employee and learn more about the different jobs and roles people have in the hospital. Role shadowing is a great way to see firsthand what is involved in a health care career. Simply choose a medical discipline in which you are interested, and Providence will partner you with employees or licensed, independent practitioners in that field. You’ll spend a day observing staff members performing various clinical and non-clinical duties. And even though you won’t provide direct care or perform any duties, you’ll learn about day-to-day life in a hospital and the different people involved.

Role Shadowing opportunities are available at Providence Hospitals for clinical and graduate students in order to gain a real-time glimpse at prospective areas of employment.
