Smoking

Providence strictly prohibits smoking throughout the hospital. On November 15, Providence will become tobacco-free, meaning that smoking will be prohibited in all hospital-owned and leased buildings, parking lots and parking ramps, vehicles on the property, and grounds. Nicotine gum will be available in the hospital gift shop. Until November 15, the only designated smoking area is the smoking area next to the Emergency Room.
