Outpatient surgery

Providence Hospital and Providence Hospital Northeast offers all the benefits and services of surgery without the expense of an overnight admission. We perform thousands of surgeries on an outpatient basis each year. Located in the hospital with a convenient entrance off Bernardin Avenue, the Outpatient Services Department provides any pre-operative testing you may need. Surgical services

The surgical department at Providence Hospital Northeast employs the "clean core" concept -- meaning surgical teams may access all four operating rooms without ever having to leave the sterile environment of the suite. These operating rooms are used for same day or outpatient surgery as well as surgical procedures requiring an inpatient stay. They are adjacent to the large recovery area where you'll find the staff members professional and attentive to your personal needs as they prepare you to leave for home or your hospital room.
