Bachelors Degree in other professions

There are opportunities today for people who have a Bachelors degree outside of nursing. Many of the Bachelor programs have some of the basic requirements like the courses in the English, science, economics, mathematics, etc. For this reason, obtaining your Bachelors in Nursing if you already have a Bachelor in another field may not take as long as you think! The only true way to know is to contact you local colleges and ask an advisor what you would need to do to enroll into nursing classes. Sometimes for whatever reasons, people do not get to college until later in life. Whether it’s financially, burnout in your current profession or simply learning that you are capable of nursing after caring for a sick family member, there are many opportunities to take that step towards earning your nursing degree.
