New Manager Orientation

As part of the Leadership development process, Providence Hospitals is committed to providing opportunities for leaders. These opportunities focus on ensuring managers understand their roles and responsibilities as leaders and providing a meaningful way to develop the essential skills and competences to be successful. New Manager Orientation is designed to assist new managers with an effective on-boarding process.  Each employee is assigned additional interactive learning modules which are accessed through Providence Learning Network.

New Manager Orientation provides manager orientation resulting in:

• A Quick Start tool as an initial resource  
• Competency in Kronos, Datawatch, Lawson, Infoweb
• Adherence to Providence Hospital Standards
• Increased retention
• An education plan specific to the new manager
