Medical Benefits

Employees may choose from two Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) from BlueChoice HealthCare of South Carolina. All full-time Employees (36 to 40 hrs.) and part-time Employees (20 to 35 hrs.) are eligible for medical benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Dental Benefits

The Delta Dental plan provides two levels of coverage for preventive, basic and major repairs and orthodontia. Delta offers a network of dentists. All full-time Employees (36 to 40 hrs.) and part-time Employees (20-25 hrs.) are eligible for dental benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Employees can use pretax dollars for out-of-pocket health care and day care expenses through a Medical Reimbursement Plan and a Dependent Care Reimbursement plan. All full-time Employees (36 to 40 hrs.) and part-time Employees (20-35 hrs.) are eligible for flexible spending account benefits on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.

Life Insurance

Life insurance is provided free of charge for all full-time employees with a benefit amount equal to their annual base pay, not to exceed $300,000. Part-time Employees are eligible for $15,000 coverage free of charge. Employees can purchase additional coverage for themselves, as well as their dependents.

Short-term Disability Insurance

Short-term disability insurance is provided free of charge to all full-time Employees. The plan benefit is 60% of an employee's base monthly earnings, not to exceed a weekly maximum of $750.

Long-term Disability Insurance

Providence provides long-term disability insurance free of charge to all full-time Employees. The plan benefit is 60% of an employee's base earnings, not to exceed a monthly maximum of $10,000.

Tuition Assistance

Providence pays up to $5,000 per year for advanced education and certification programs. This benefit is available for both full-time and part-time Employees.

Retirement Savings

401(k) Salary Deferral

• Plan administered by Fidelity Investments
• All Employees are eligible
• 50% match on up to 3% of employee's contributions after one of service
• Loans and hardship withdrawals available
• Up to 100 different investment choices available

Annual Employer Contribution

• Providence contributes a percentage of annual gross pay to qualifying Employees
• The percentage is based on years of service and ranges from 2.25% to 5.5%
• The contribution goes into your Retirement Savings Plan along with your 401(k) and matching contributions

Paid-Time-Off (PTO)

• Paid vacation days including holidays
• Full-time and part-time Employees (16+ hours per week) are eligible
• Accrual rate based on years of service
• Annual PTO cash-out options are also available
