IMCU (4 Heart) Intermediate Medical Coronary Care Unit

• This is a 20-bed cardiac intervention step-down unit.
• This unit features all private rooms.
• Our case mix includes PCI and step down patients from MCCU.
• CCT coverage is available 24 hours a day.
• We use GE cardiac telemetry systems with portable DASH monitors.
• ACLS and BCLS certification is required within 12 months of employment. Training is provided.
• "Providence Nurse of the Year" on staff - Charlotte Shull, RN.
• Flexible scheduling is available.

IICU (Intermediate Intensive Care Unit)

• This step-down unit to ICU is a six-bed nursing unit.
• Our case mix includes medical and surgical, long-term ventilator and MSOF patients.
• We use GE cardiac telemetry systems with portable DASH monitors.
• Flexible scheduling is available.

6 Heart

• This is a 24-bed open-heart surgery step-down unit.
• This unit features spacious, all-private rooms.
• Our case mix includes CABG patients, vascular cases (CEA and fem-pops), insulin drips, chest tubes, temporary pacing devices and high-risk medication therapy.
• We use GE cardiac telemetry systems with portable DASH monitors.
• We use a team approach to patient care.
• Multidisciplinary AM rounding.
• Flexible scheduling is available.
