This begins with our comprehensive orientation process, where we have structured clinical pathways to connect education to practice. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced nurse, these pathways are mapped to your personal learning needs to assist you with making a smooth transition into your professional role.

Providence offers numerous opportunities for continuing your professional education.
This includes:

  • American Heart Association Training Center.
  • AHEC Consortium.
  • Frequent life support classes, including provider and instructor courses in BCLA, ACLS and PALS.
  • In-service training sessions on important patient care topics such as clinical care, professional development, computer training and leadership development.
  • A large selection of community and family-oriented classes.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

Providence offers tuition reimbursement. We reimburse students up to $5,000 a year. This benefit is available to full- and part-time employees. Certification pay and educational pay are included in this program.
