Federal Income Tax Charitable Donation

If you itemize your deductions, cash gifts are fully deductible for federal income tax purposes up to a limit of 50 percent of your adjusted gross income. If your cash gift exceeds this limit, any unused deduction may be carried over for up to five years.

Gift and Estate Taxes

A charitable gift to Providence Hospitals is not subject to gift or estate tax.
